Irrigation Systems
At VBS Pipeco we understand that no two farms or crops are the same and as such we offer a diverse range of irrigation products which can be tailored to individual needs.
We offer 3 main types of irrigation systems which is discussed in detail in our catalogue. These are sprinkler, drip and hose. The most suitable system for your small holding or large estate will depend on the size of your property, the terrain as well as cost limitations. Sprinkler Irrigation
VBS Pipeco has developed a sprinkler irrigation system that is efficient, practical and economical. Our system is suitable for smallholder farming to estates.
The system is composed of HDPE pipe mainline and laterals with a two meter (or more) flexible dragline hose pipe (20 or 25mm diameter) that connects to a tripod stand.
The tripod stand is mounted with a sprinkler to the laterals by means of a quick coupling valve.

Drip Irrigation
Drip irrigation is a form of irrigation that saves water and fertilizer by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of many different plants, either onto the soil surface or directly to the root zone. This is done through a network of valves, pipes, tubing and emitters.
At VBS Pipeco we design and supply drip irrigation systems suitable for both smallholders to large estates, ranging from less than 1 acre to 100ha and above. We have all the necessary in-built and on-line drip pipes, fittings and equipment which a system of any land size may require.

Hose Irrigation
In a dragline hose irrigation system the water is applied to the basins and furrows through draglines which are moved by hand and can be extended in various directions. When one furrow or basin has been filled up with water, the dragline is moved to the next one and so on.

VBS Pipeco supply Family Drip Irrigation Systems which have revolutionised small scale farming and have optimised resources.
No pump or electricity required for operation.
Effective for open field crops as well as greenhouses.
